Wireless Smoke Alarm Base (240V Powered with 10 Year Lithium Ion backup)

The RWB2 is a 240V mains-powered mounting base that upgrades your hardwired smoke alarms with wireless capabilities. It comes with a 10-year lithium battery backup, so your alarms stay powered even if the mains power goes out.

This base is designed specifically for the Red Smoke Alarms R240 and R240RC models.

By installing this base, you can connect your hardwired alarms to a wireless network. This allows them to pair with other wireless Red RF alarms, like the R10RF , and be fully controlled by the RAC wireless remote controller.

You can connect up to 40 alarms together through a wired setup or up to 20 wirelessly. The wireless range is up to 100 meters in an open area and 30 meters indoors. This product must be installed by a licensed electrician and comes with a 10-year warranty for the original purchaser.
